Privacy Policy
How Zweepp handles information.
This policy explains what information Zweepp collects, why it is used, and the choices available to people who use the website, accounts, subscriptions and browser-based swept-path tools.
Last updated: 8 August 2026
1. Who this policy is for
This policy applies to visitors to the Zweepp website and to users of Zweepp accounts, subscriptions, drawing tools, project storage, support and related services. In this policy, "Zweepp", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the Zweepp website and services.
If an organisation gives you access to Zweepp, that organisation may also control how your project information is used. In that case, contact the organisation first for questions about its own use of data.
2. Information we collect
We collect only information that is useful for operating, securing and improving Zweepp. This may include:
- account details such as your email address, password authentication records and confirmation status;
- subscription records such as plan, status, renewal period, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers and billing metadata;
- project content you create or save, including project names, plans, geometry, vehicle selections, route data, thumbnails and export-related data;
- support messages and any details you choose to send us;
- technical data such as device, browser, pages requested, approximate region, timestamps, logs, error information and security events;
- usage information about how core features are used, where this helps us maintain and improve the service.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to include it in project files, notes, support messages or uploaded material.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create accounts, sign users in, confirm email addresses and reset passwords;
- provide the swept-path drawing, saving, sharing and export functions;
- process subscriptions, enforce access rules and manage billing status;
- respond to support requests and administrative enquiries;
- protect the website, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain service reliability;
- improve Zweepp, plan features and understand whether the product is working as intended;
- meet legal, tax, accounting, security and contractual obligations.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Zweepp does not store your full card number or bank details. Stripe may process payment details, billing contact information, tax information, fraud signals and transaction data under Stripe's own terms and privacy documentation. We store the information needed to recognise your plan, subscription status and access rights.
5. Cookies and local storage
Zweepp may use cookies, session tokens and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember account state, protect the service, process checkout returns and support the drawing application. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout or project saving from working correctly. Optional analytics or tracking storage is only used after you accept it in the privacy choices shown on the site.
6. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us host, secure, operate, analyse, email, support and bill for Zweepp. These providers may include hosting, database, email delivery and payment providers. They are allowed to use the information only as needed to provide their services to us or as required by law.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale, merger, restructuring or acquisition.
7. Project data and customer responsibility
Project drawings, uploaded plans and swept-path data may contain information about sites, clients, addresses, infrastructure or proposed works. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload, process, store and share that material through Zweepp.
Avoid uploading confidential, regulated, safety-critical or personal information unless you are authorised to do so and have assessed whether Zweepp is appropriate for that material.
8. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport and operational monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should keep your account credentials safe and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Zweepp, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, enforce agreements and protect the service. Project and account data may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
You can also choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it. For subscription cancellation or billing changes, use the available account or payment flow, or contact us for help.
10. International processing
Zweepp and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or legal mechanisms for cross-border transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Zweepp changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the website, account area or email.
